Quilt Circle of Friends September Meeting

Last month, I handed out the last block pattern for our Barn Quilt Sign BOM. Some of the gals brought their blocks to share.
Dian's

Margaret's

Three of Trish's

Abbie's
This is Nancy's version of our Barn Block BOM, using just 11 of the blocks. Isn't this fun?
This is all 12 of my blocks with a 1" border of gray barn board fabric added. Next will be a purple Grunge border with black corner stones. I plan to add a few pieced borders to make it a bigger quilt. Watch for this BOM to be offered to all after the first of the year.

And the rest of our show and share:
Nancy's pillow made from mini charms. Below see her happy lap quilt and a log cabin wall hanging to match her bed quilt.

Meet Deb's Jewel Box quilt made using the half square triangles from our exchange - - - plus a few more. Stunning.

We always love when Dian shares what she has been doing in her art quilt group. This little quilt replicates a Walking Stick she found on her front porch.

It was on the back of a leaf with the sun shining through making it illuminate.

Margaret and Trish shared their wooden quilt blocks. Very pretty.

Margaret found this archive and finished it up. Cute.

Theresa is making reversible pillow shams.

Nancy finished up this darling pineapple block quilt.

Sue just finished up this big beauty.

Abbie shared her version of our Ladies of the Lake Retreat quilt project. Very nice.

Abbie also showed us this French Braid quilt made for her daughter. She wanted it to have the feel of London. Well done!

Jackie, known for her red, white and black quilts, shared this row quilt. Love it.

And she shared this adorable baby quilt along with the birth announcement of a brand new grandchild!!!

After a quick demo on a fabric folded basket, we had refreshments and called it a night.

Thanks to Jackie O for taking these pictures and to all of my super Quilt Circle of Friends.
