Quilt Pictures

We all love Show and Share, don't we? Here are a few quilt pictures I took recently from a weekend with the online group, Iowa Quilters.

Quilt made from group block exchange.

Another quilt from the group block exchange.

A quilt from an exchange of half square triangle units (Adel's Quilt Circle of Friends exchange)

A Strip Club quilt from Adel Quilting - finished at this retreat!

And a Crazy Patriotic quilt. Nice.
This retreat also included the unveiling of a group challenge called Panel Palooza. Guests at the 2017 retreat were given a panel and challenged to convert it into a quilt. Notice, in the pictures where there is more than one quilt, both quilts originated from the same panel. Here they are!

This young lady, not quite a senior in high school, is also a clothing designer, working on her first line to be shown on the runway!

Her specialty is beading. Each of these gowns include heavy bead embellishment.

This dress with a train will be her prom dress.

This wedding gown incorporates doilies into the bodice.
This retreat also included a drawing for donated prizes of either "skinnies" (aka quilt tops) or generous bags of fabric scraps, sorted by color.
This is the Skinny I won in the drawing. Doesn't it look nice on my new chair? I'll get it quilted up with a nice plush backing and have it all ready to snuggle under in the coming Iowa winter.
