Sisters of the Cloth Nov meeting

Cyndi Craigmile was our guest speaker last Saturday. Sewing since she was 5, she showed us quilts she has made over the years
Combining 3 of her loves, Math, Geometry and Sewing, Cyndi has drafted many of the patterns for her quilts.

And several of these quilts are block of the month projects from Adel Quilting. Fun!

Our Baskets of Blohms

Made using Ombre fabrics

Our Flower Box Medley

Appique', even the border stripes.

1930s repro prints

Our Aunt Millie's Flower Garden

Cyndi also shared a couple of quilts made by the generation before her.

This was her first quilt. She drafted patterns for all the blocks. I always say there is a long range to the meaning of Beginner Quilter.

And they just kept coming - - -

Labyrinth

Every niece or nephew that got a baby quilt, is now getting a graduation quilt.

These are message blocks given to her at her workplace when she retired.

And a couple paper pieced quilts.

 A Christmas quilt
And another show stopping applique' quilt!
These were her closing comments. We agree with that!

Thank you to Cyndi for sharing her time and talent and thank you to all of my Sisters of the Cloth for another great series of classes.  See you next year!
