Last weekend, I enjoyed a trip to the Henry A Wallace Country Life enter with a couple friends for their annual Spring Quilt Show.
It was a lovely show of over 100 quilts featuring many by Adel quilter, Kathy Hamilton. Here are some of her quilts we spotted in the display:
Henry A Wallace, born on this farm in rural Orient in 1888, founded Pioneer Seed Hi-Bred and was an editor for Wallaces' Farmer Magazine. The farm hosts several educational and entertaining events. Check out their website at www.wallace.org
