Winter Frost Quilt

Have you been snagging the free daily block postings at modafabrics.com for their Winter Frost project? Some of the blocks are used in this pattern. I don't see the angel or mitten so this must be just some of them.

A different pillowcase project -

This is a picture of some of the helpers at the Murray Iowa Mrs. Claus project.  Every Christmas, they help fill cases with toys to deliver to children in need in their community.

We have been remotely involved with this through donation of pillowcases over the years. Many of you have made and left pillowcases here that have been forwarded on to these folks to help with their charitable giving.

The need was up this year and bit into the reserves of the pillowcase supply fairly significantly so, this is a request to build the supply back up for future years.

If you can make a pillowcase or two this year and drop it by the shop, we will make sure it gets in the right hands for delivery to Mrs. Claus.

To help with this mission, we are offering 25% off of fabric that you designate for pillowcase making for this project.

Merry Christmas!

"I want a ipad, a pair of ice skates and a Merry Christmas to you, Santa. I love you.   PS I have been very good.  Love, Olivia"

- - - - from our home to yours, have a Berry Merry Christmas!

The LARGE hexie ruler

Have I shown you Tricia Snyder's new large Hexie ruler?

This ruler not only makes a 16" hexagons but also has markings for the side setting and corner units so you can build a hexagon quilt with no
y seams!

This is the first quilt Tricia made with her new ruler, The Hexie Tee Quilt. This pattern comes free with the purchase of the hexagon ruler.
This quilt also won a blue ribbon at the Iowa State Fair!

This is a quilt Trish made using Kaffe fabrics.

Here is a couple more I have made, just playing with colors and placement.

We have kits for these last two quilts as well as the rulers. These large pieces make quick work when piecing and takes T-Shirt quilts to the next level!

We look forward to serving you again and catching up on all the holiday news in the new year!   ðŸŽ‰ðŸŽ‰ðŸŽ‰ðŸŽ‰ðŸŽ‰

Customer Show and Share

Nicole S shared her first big quilt. The fabric is glittery and so pretty. This will be a gift for her mother.

Here is a close up of the machine quilting pattern done by Lynette Heetland. Lynette drops off and picks up machine quilting jobs here in the shop. Nicole was absolutely thrilled with the job Lynette did on her quilt.

I have a book full of quilting patterns and thread colors to choose from for quilt tops dropped off here for Lynette to finish.

Need backing and batting? We got you covered.
