Indigo Dyeing Class:

We are still on for class tomorrow morning, Sept 29. The rain will be moved on. 

As it will still be cool, we will do most of the class in the shop classroom and take fabric outside to hang and dry. Wear warm clothes that you don't mind if you get a little messy with the dye!

At our Quilt Circle meeting this week, Bonnie did a demo using the wool pressing mat and Bloc Loc ruler. These came in the next day.

These new wool pressing mats are nice because they heat from the top and the bottom as you press with the iron.

Adel Poster

Open Sew is Thursday and Friday this week at the Adel Library, 10 am until the last stitch of the day is made. And it's free! Join us.

Saturday is Sisters of the Cloth Class, also at the Adel Library,  10 am to noon.  Historian, Kathy Wilson will be our featured speaker. If you are not previously registered, you may join us for $20.

Calvie is back in school, going full steam ahead again but, last week a virus exasperated his asthma and landed him in the hospital for 4 days. Older brother Jackson made him this card. This is the crest he designed for them. #brothers!

T Shirt Class

Have you wanted to make a t-shirt quilt but didn't know where to start? Register for our October 6 class, 10 am to noon.

Julia Swallow will teach this class, lecture style. No sewing machines required. Julia will walk you through all the how to's and talk about the best products to make easy work of it.

Birthday Girl

Brookly was home this weekend so we celebrated her bday a few days early. Can you believe these two have the same parents? When she is home, she and Willow take over the kitchen and cook up some great family meals. Happy Birthday, Brook!
