September Quilt Circle Show and Tell

Joyce is ready for Fall.

Nancy is working on a Fall quilt too but this is just the center.

Nancy also shared this panel from B lock Party Studios.

Lonnie still needs to add binding but this is another version of her pattern Panel Play using a Christmas panel. Shop Sample.

Lonnie even has time to make an occasional quilt that is not a shop sample! This is a quilt picture she saw on Pinterest. It's for a baby boy coming soon.

What makes this quilt really special is the bubble Minky Lonnie used for the back. The quilting pattern really made the bubbles pop.

Birthday girl, Theresa, shared this pattern announcing her next project. Stay tuned.

We welcomed Nicki to our circle for the first time. She came prepared to show us some really cute potholders and placemats she has been making to practice quilt-as-you-go.

She also shared this fun quilt she came up with to feature the stack of blocks she won at the Perrry Piecemakers Guild.

Celia has started making these little mug mats, gifts for all the people that help her at the local food pantry. Each mat features a saying about volunteers and generous people. She only has about 193 more to go. Cool

Marti shared these mats she made in a class with the "Iowa Quilt Guild. Very pretty.

And then she shared just a few of her collection of sock darning eggs. She has at least 200!

Always sleuthing antique shows to grow her collection, she recently found this one. Picasso - maybe -- -

Nancy shared this beautiful panel she recently purchased.

I introduced a peek at our new applique BOM - starts January.

And Flo shared her original design using the Thicket animal panel.

Bonnie shared some pressing and cutting tips with us. Very interesting.

We drew for prizes and then closed the meeting on this warm summer night with a Dreamsicle.

Thanks to this great circle of quilters and friends! And thank you to our volunteer photographer - Jackie O.
