Collaging

This is what I've been having fun with. I'm teaching this Oct 15 and 29 at the Adel Library. These classes are full with a waiting list but I wanted to share this pic anyway.  This is the last class I'll be teaching in Adel as I prepare to start the next chapter of my life.

I recently bought a house in Ames where I will be much closer to kids, grandkids and my sister. The movers come Oct 21 but don't worry, I will be back in town for the Oct 29 class.

Adel will always hold a special place in my memory. Now there will be new memories made in Ames and I hope you will call me for coffee when you come to town!

Stitching with Lake View friends

I recently had the pleasure of driving up to Lake View Iowa for a day of stitching with this group of quilters. As with every gathering of quilters, the day included this show and tell. I look forward to going back up again soon.

Elvis was in the house.

Here's a little surprise - - -

I have decided to relocate - - - closer to my Iowa kids and grandkids.

A move like this requires I go through and purge.  One of the items I am letting go of is my long arm.

See description below and call me at 515-993-4115 if you are interested.  Schedule an appointment to come try it out.

Well maintained 1999 Gammill Classic with a 26" throat, 12' table and built in bobbin winder. Non computerized. Has never required professional service but has been regularly cleaned and oiled. Runs like a champ, $3500.

Includes a large selection of bobbins and thread, red snappers,  and miscellaneous long arm supplies.

Purchaser is responsible for disassembly, moving and reassembly.

I am happy to give a lesson on loading and running before disassembly.
