| Katherine was new to Open Sew. A veteran at hand stitching, she is tackling machine piecing now. We enjoyed stitching with her. |

| I worked on this challenge quilt. The challenge was to make a lap quilt using the small blue print. I backed it with a bright red plush. These quilts will eventually go to a nursing home as a comfort quilt so, I thought the plush would be nice. |
