May Quilt Circle

Here we go around the circle, Quilt Circle of Friends show and tell, that is!
Nancy J finished this quilt top after a couple years of intermittent stitching!

Joyce S. quilted these two banners for our library fund raiser sale.

Nancy H. is making animal blocks for a special baby quilt

and she finished this quilt for our library sale.

Sue R. was thrilled to find this baseball fabric recently to go in a special quilt or her son.

Deanna, getting back into quilting after a several year sabbatical, found this quilt top she forgot she had! Now for the borders.

Jackie O was not at the meeting but she dropped off these reading pillows earlier in the day, each including a book and a little flash light. These are donations for the library sale.

Plus, this is a stack of crib blankets Jackie O donated to our charity collection for Mercy PICU.

Nancy J made and donated this little Christmas runner to our library sale

and Nancy showed us this little topper she made, using the house block and a pack of charms.

This is a special quilt Nancy J. just finished for her grandson.

Joyce S. showed us this quilt that she made from pre-cut strips.

Lonnie K. made a mini me, cutting the squares for Solar Flare 2" rather than 7".

This is a Deb S. re-do, a quilt she practiced machine quilting on several years ago and was not happy with. She took all the quilting out and started over.

Deb also brought these two little quilts she finished up for our library sale.

Celia showed us this sweet baby quilt she made for a great grandchild

with this cute pieced back

and yet another beautiful snowman quilt!

Celia also brought this surprise to Quilt Circle, sister and former member, Rozetta! Rozetta moved away several years ago and was back in town to visit. We were all so happy to see her again!

Rozetta brought several quilts to show us what she has been doing, starting with this cute little applique' quilt

and this cute holiday quilt

and this quilt made from our HST exchange.

We all loved speculating about the origin of this horse hide blanket, complete with the mane, that Theresa H brought to show.

Trish S. gave us a sneak peek at a t shirt quilt she is designing using large hexagon blocks.

Abbie A shared a whole stack of donation quilts made for kids in cancer treatment.

Abbie also recently quilted these two quilts, made by a friend.

Sue R. showed us these two quilts. They were donation tops made at retreat last fall that Sue finished up for donation.

Plus Sue had even more quilts to add to the donation pile.

Deanna was recently gifted a charm pack of tan squares. She added these teal prints to make this beautiful quilt. She ran out of border fabric so, it's one side short of being a complete top.

Here are even more donations for the library sale, two stacks of embroidered quilt blocks.

Kathy H. added three more quilts to our stack for the library sale, each made from the same layer cake pack of striped fabric

and Kathy showed us this mini log cabin with "logs" finishing at  just 1/4".

We closed our meeting with a preview of AISH and Row by Row samples plus a discussion on making fidget quilts followed by drawing for a few pries and a refreshment.

Thank you to my Quilt Circle of Friends!
