June Quilt Circle

We had our June meeting last week and, as always, enjoyed show and share!

Maggie was a new guest and shared 10" squares she is planning to use for a holiday rag quilt.

Abbie shared her block of the month quilt which she expanded.

A kazillion tiny buttons later, Celia can call her showman quilt done!
Deanna finished up this little quilt.  It was started when she was gifted a pack of tan 5" squares from which she challenged herself to make something.

Celia recently helped her granddaughter Madeline finish up this mystery quilt.

Remember seeing this pattern before? Every month, Sue and Abbie show more quilts they have made for Warrior Wagons for children battling cancer.

Deb shared this challenge quilt she made using our 2018 "License Plate". These challenge quilts are on display in the shop now.

Isn't this cute? Whirly Gigs made with Whirly Gig fabric.

Deb has been making quilts for the local vets office to use on their exam tables.

Abbie has just pieced together these blocks made on her embroidery machine.

Did you know Celia likes snowmen?

Flo finished Abilene. Isn't she spectacular?

Sue is just finishing up this butterfly quilt.

Bonnie's hand appliqued and hand quilted!

Nikki showed us her crayon bags. She has made hundreds of these bags to give away to children, crayons on the outside, coloring books on the inside.

Donna shared this quilt, a gift from daughter (and QC member) Kathy.

Margaret brought this little quilt to add to our challenge exhibit.

Celia is teaching this granddaughter to quilt.

This little cheater quilt was gifted to the charity we are collecting for, Mercy PICU.

Bonnie shared this quilt. It's her Get Er Done commitment for 2019.

Nancy J. shared a clever way to keep small pattern cards organized, using a Grandma's Brag Book photo keeper.

Another beauty by our mentor, Margaret.

Sue is branching out into pink?? Pretty.

Kathy just finished this glorious scrap quilt, a wedding gift for friends.

Another gift quilt by Kathy, this one for a special neighbor.

Margaret shared this Pieced Applique' quilt.

With a grand baby on the way, Nancy H. has busy working on baby quilts.

This one, Nancy re-purposed from a baby quilt she made many moons ago for her daughter.

And never the quilt sloucher, Nancy H. also showed us this quilt top she recently finished up.

After a quick demo of the Pineapple Trim Tool from Creative Grids, we enjoyed a snack and called it an evening.

Thank you to Nancy H. for taking these pictures for us and to all of my Quilt Circle of Friends
