Quilts Quilts Quilts

About a dozen quilters from the March Ladies of the Lake Quilt Retreat (which was cancelled, of course) gathered this week to stitch together. Here are just a few of the results:
Kay Christian made this quilt from one fabric - yardage of a rainbow colored ombre fabric.

This is potentially the center of a quilt by LaRue Schade done in her signature beautiful hand applique'.

Janet DeJager was working on paper piecing. This is just one part of what will be a spectacular, large star.

Sue Risius shared her Bermuda Triangle quilt done with blue background and Lorna Christianson made the same pattern in a mini version.

Becky Ervin was making masks.

Some of the other gals were testing a pattern that has not yet been released so those pictures will be at a later date.

Mostly, they all seemed to enjoy a little time sewing with friends.  The room where they set up is actually a ballroom, often used for weddings and receptions and quite large so they were able to spread out for some really good socializing with physical distancing.
