Today's Collage Class

Cyndi Kirk from near Ames was our guest speaker today. She shared several of the collage quilts she has made and gave great tips and inspiration.

These first 3 are Laura Heine patterns. 

The next 3 are pictures she found in adult coloring books or just sketched them herself.

Because we are using the tomato pin cushion for our class, she even whipped up a sample of that for us. This also is a Laura Heine pattern.

Thank you so much to Cyndi for coming and sharing. With her inspiration, the class spent the rest of the day embellishing their pin cushion collages. I'll post those pics in the next day or two.
