 OPEN SEW???!!!!!!

I just heard the library large meeting room is now open for reservation. Who is interested in gathering again for a monthly Friday Open Sew?

If I hear from at least 15 who are interested in resuming this, I will contact the library to reserve dates and share details with all.

 These are Lonnie's quilts #14 and #15 from a book of 25 quilts made using 2 1/2" strips.  She's thinking of taking a break from her sewing machine but it won't be for long.

How sweet is this? Deb's sister Deanna crocheted this afghan for her. The spools are made independently and then crochet stitched to the white afghan. Another true labor of love.

These are a matched set.  The unit with the drawers even has a trim piece so they can be neatly nested together. 

I am selling one or both for $85 each.  

The dimensions are actually 32 3/4" high by 21” deep. The unit with the drawers is 41 1/2” wide and the unit without drawers is 45” wide.

It's almost that time of year!

 The All Iowa Shop Hop will be 2 months again this year, June 1 through July 31.  Make your plans now!

We will have the magazines in stock soon.

We will not be listed on the passport this year but we are an AISH sponsor and would love to have you stop by, especially July 13, 14 15 or 16 for our Grand Closing Celebration.

A little more on that - - - On July 16 (the same date as our Grand Opening Celebration in 2002) we will close the doors to the retail shop and move to our next chapter, specializing in wide backs available by mail or as Porch Pick Up.  Oh, and at least semi-retirement.

I am in the process of ordering a large selection of wide backs now, both in cotton and in cotton flannel.  I'll be posting pictures here and on our online store - shopadelquilting.com
