Customer Scott B, shown above, came in one day and asked for help picking fabrics for a quilt he designed. He is chaplain for a group of Lakota Indians who have a ministry of teaching children to sew. He provided the fabric and pattern for this group to make him his own quilt to cherish now and be buried in some day.
Full of symbolism, the center looks like a turtle because the United States was once known as the Turtle Nation to Lakota tribes due to it's shape.
Scott was very happy with the way it turned out and I was very pleased to be a part of it. Nice job, ladies. |
