A little catch up.

Thanksgiving was a nice long weekend in Chicago with family.
I've got to stop calling them babies, right?

Thanksgiving was at Brook's home in Chicago this year. Here Aunt B is with Max.

I rode out with the Hill family. It was a great trip except for one little car sickness incident. Even that was not too bad as we were just moments from an interstate rest stop were we could refresh on return to the route. #travelingwithkids

We ate well and too much.
We lounged a little.

On Friday we toured some of the downtown Chicago holiday events.
Jackson stands next to a Jackson Pollack painting in the Chicago Art Institute. We watched the annual "wreath placement" on the lion sculptures at the museum entrance while the cast from Hamilton sang on the entrance steps. Very cool.

Gabe (aka Uncle Beef) did not make it back this year as his team was caught up in the first round of playoffs. They practiced Thanksgiving Day and played on Friday. They went on to make it to the 3rd round of playoffs last Saturday eve and lost in a heartbreaking overtime missed extra point kick.

Gabe is sporting a mustache in the pic, something all the coaches did during playoffs. He is a Defensive Coordinator and Safeties Coach. Here he is with his safeties. Congratulations to the Coppell Cowboys on a great year.
I am so thankful for my strong circle of family and friends!
