Quilt Circle met!

Monday was our QC March meeting. After a little catch up, we shared some great show and tell.

Nancy H. shared this pattern and kit she is declaring as her Archive Get Er Done project of the year.

She also shared this block-a-day quilt she just completed. Absolutely beautiful.

Jackie O showed us this pretty quilt, made with friends, a comfort quilt for an online quilt group.

and here is the pretty back.

And another comfort quilt she made for a different comfort quilt program. This one is for Adel Alumni in school colors.

This is some thread play Jackie has been practicing on her long arm.

Deb is in a block exchange and finding these little blocks a challenge.

So she tried these sewing guides, an attachment to use with her sewing machine, that has made easy work of it.

And this is a new pattern Deb is playing with on her long arm. Looks great on this flannel doggie quilt.

Kathy H showed this shop sample quilt she made, Ombre Weave, quilted with another of Deb's new designs. 

This is such a Margaret quilt. Isn't it beautiful?

This is Margaret's Barn Quilt. The members of QC did this block of the month last year and each came up with their own setting. Several of these quilts will be on display at our outdoor quilt show in June. We are also offering this BOM to the public, starting in June.

Here's a pretty little baby quilt Trish made with charm squares.

Abbie showed us this T-Shirt quilt. We all loved the dimension the ombre fabric gives.

And this is a quilt she made for a dancing granddaughter.

This is a quilt Abbie is finishing up, left behind from a previous generation.

Theresa shared this. These are the half square triangle units we exchanged last year. Each month was designated a color to pair up with a mostly black with white fabric. Love it!

And then it was Nancy J's turn. She brought all of these quilts and stacks of blocks to donate to our library fund raiser sale in June. Some came to her from a friends estate.

Kathy H showed us this wedding quilt she made for her daughter. Very nice. Following is the label.

Lonnie, always up for a challenge, finished this Gypsy Wife quilt. So pretty and so well done!

We closed our evening with a game of quilter's poker. In the absence of a table, we passed around a tray to use for rolling the dice.

Staying with our poker theme. we snacked on chocolate Nuggets and Chips, drew for some prizes and called it an evening.
