Quilt Circle of Friends

Pictures from our April Quilt Circle of Friends meeting:

Nancy H shared a pic of the wool applique she is working on. This little quilt is about 22" square. We'll be seeing more of it.

She also finished the Halloween quilt she has been working on.

Jackie O showed us these pretty place mats she made using fabrics collected on vacation.

and this beauty she made based on a picture she saw on Pinterest.

This is a fidget quilt she made for a friend in an Alzheimers unit.

Deb finished up her Fantasy panel - - -

and she finished up this panel to donate to Warrior Wagons, a program that fills wagons full of gifts for children in treatment.

Lonnie finished up a couple of kits she's had in waiting. This one is a little comfort patch for her granddaughters to snuggle with. With a close look, you can see little folded ribbon tabs for chubby little hands to play with.

and a little cloth quiet book for the grands.

Kathy showed us her Get Er Done project - She Got Er Done!

Plus this adorable little wall quilt and - -

This is a quilt top that will be gifted to a college grad. Kathy put this together in just a couple days. The arcs are all appliqued on with fusible web. Nice.

And Kathy shared this quilt she made for her mother. This feathered star quilt was once on display at the quilt museum in Paducah.

Trish shared this picture of a baby quilt made for her new Great Niece. We all thought the baby stole the show in this pic!

Trish also shared this big beauty, made using her half square triangle units from our exchange. Love it!

Another picture was shared. This was taken at Margaret's grandkids house. The clever quilt hanger holds quilts Margaret has made and given to these kids. Isn't it cool?

Margaret also shared table toppers she has made to decorate tables for a Woman's Club luncheon with a patriotic theme.

Nancy J is still whipping up little table toppers for our June quilt sale. Here's one and - - -

and another.

And here is a first peak at the Dallas County Fair quilt many donated blocks for. You will see this quilt again!

It's always nice to gather for a minute and catch up in our Quilt Circle of Friends!
