Dyeing fabric with Indigo

Who wants to take a class on Indigo Dyeing!

Maggie Howe from Prairie Land Herbs will lead this fun project. Saturday, August 18, 10 am to 11:30 am. All supplies will be provided for this Make and Take class.

Explore the plant and science magic of dyeing with indigo! Indigo is a plant based dye that's used to create beautiful blue colors. As part of the class fee, we will provide two items to dye, but also feel free to bring any extra t-shirt, scarf, fabric, yarn, or any natural fiber item to dye.

We will fold, scrunch, or twist the item to make cool designs, then dye it with indigo. Nature's tie-dye! $35, 1.5 hours. This is a SUPER fun and popular class, good for literally any age.

Call or stop by the shop to register. This class will be on the lawn in front of the shop. We are calling this a yard party as there will also be refreshments and demos of things to make with your newly died fabric.

Register soon. This class is limited to 15 students.
